Sooooo thankful that Daycamp is over. I love my kids and I love hanging out with them but I am sooo tired. I missed day camp on monday because I was still in AZ Tuesday I got to the corps with only 3 hours of sleep but was super thankful that we had an over abundance of help from CSM becuase between being tired and sick from bad chicken at Cracker Barrell the night before - I went home and slept from 11 am - 5 pm Wednesday I had a great art project planned but missed classes because I had to take Anuj Kumar to the hospital to get stiches in his forehead Thursday we had a BBQ at Chrissy field which was awesome but then had to deal with a huge meltdown From Daragh who was comeplete convinced his finger was broken and wanted to take the van home. Finally got him to leave Chrissy Field 15 minutes after everyone else left Friday we were all tired and lazy without a lot of kids so we combined classes. Would have been an easy day but took the teens to the Giants-As game and sat in the pouring FREEZING rain and didn't get home until 11 pm Saturday helped with bowling for the first time in a long time and then went home and rested Sunday was the corps and then the laundrymat and then target. Today we went to the zoo. Had fun but had a completely squirmy group. My day mostly went like this; "Jen jen jen jen jen jen jen jen jen jen when are we going to see the tigers?" "Where are the tigers?" "Are we going to the tigers yet" "Can we see the tigers now?" "How come the tiger is sleeping" "Where is the tiger that killed the guy" "Is that the only tiger there is?" "Can we see the black rhino now?" "Where's the black rhino?" "How come the black rhino is not black?" And that is just 2 minutes of dialouge. It was like that all day today. The worst part is that I smell like eucalyptus trees because the zoo is covered in eucalyptus trees and while in small quantities this scent is nice - in big quantities you smell like Cat litter. Arrrggg I know it seems like I am complaining but I just think my life is sooo funny. here are some pictures
